On July 11, the “Ukrainian National Dance Company named after P. Virsky” performed at the Bunkyo Civic Hall in Tokyo.
His Excellency Sergiy Korsunsky, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine to Japan, attended the evening concert, joined by fellow ambassadors and embassy representatives from 34 other countries.
For the finale, the performers took to “Hopak,” a lively dance routine against a backdrop of sunflowers and cerulean skies, which the audience responded with a rousing applause.
