On June 25 and 26, the Vokalharmonin vocal ensemble and The Uppsala Chamber Soloists flew to Japan respectively. The two groups are joining hands as the Sweden Harmony in a nationwide tour sponsored by the Min-On Concert Association, performing in a total of eight concerts from June 27 in Tokushima prefecture and closing on July 10 in Niigata prefecture.
On June 28, members of the Sweden Harmony paid a courtesy call on Min-On, where they were welcomed by Executive Managing Director Hideshiro Akiya and Managing Director Kiyoshi Komatsu.
The Swedes later toured the Min-On Music Museum, viewing its collection of classic pianos and music boxes.
On their opening concert held in Tokushima, Sweden Harmony was greeted with enthusiastic applause from the audience.
