On August 19, 2026, H.E. Mr. Pawel Milewski, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Poland to Japan, visited the Min-On Cultural Center to bid farewell ahead of the completion of his tenure in Japan. He was welcomed by Min-On President Koji Yamaguchi.
During the meeting, Ambassador Milewski reflected on his nearly seven years in Japan and expressed his appreciation for Min-On’s efforts to introduce Polish music and culture to audiences in Japan and contribute to cultural exchange between the two countries.
He also referred to the founding philosophy of Min-On, which emphasizes that music connects people and brings them together in beauty, and spoke of his renewed appreciation for the power and importance of music.
Ambassador Milewski further expressed his desire to continue contributing to exchanges between Japan and Poland through culture, the arts, and education. He also conveyed his hopes that Min-On will continue to promote cultural exchange with countries around the world
