As we approach the end of the year, please note the following holiday closure schedules for our facilities.
Min-On Music Museum (Shinjuku, Tokyo)
The museum will be closed for the year-end and New Year holidays from Monday, December 22, 2025 to Monday, January 5, 2026.
Regular operations will resume on Tuesday, January 6, 2026.
The Min-On Plaza (museum shop) will follow the same schedule.
Regular Opening Hours:
- Tuesday to Saturday: 11:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
- Sunday & Public Holidays: 10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
- Closed: Every Monday (if Monday is a public holiday, the museum opens and closes the following weekday), and during year-end/New Year holidays.
Min-On Music Museum – Western Branch (Kobe)
The museum will be closed from Monday, December 22, 2025 to Saturday, January 10, 2026.
Regular operations will resume on Sunday, January 11, 2026.
Regular Opening Hours:
- Sundays only: 11:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. (last admission 3:30 p.m.)
- Closed: During year-end/New Year holidays.
Music Library (Shinjuku, Tokyo)
The Music Library will be closed from Wednesday, December 24, 2025 to Wednesday, January 7, 2026.
Regular operations will resume on Thursday, January 8, 2026.
Regular Opening Hours:
- Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays: 12:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. (last admission 5:30 p.m.)
Closed: All other days, public holidays, summer closure (August 1–15), and year-end/New Year holidays (December 25–January 7).
Opening Hours (effective from Friday, October 10):
- Tuesday to Saturday: 11:00 AM – 4:00 PM
- Sunday & Public Holidays: 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Closed every Monday. If Monday is a public holiday, the museum will be closed the following day.
