Profile: The name Trio Minpia means “Made in Nagoya Piano Trio,” with each member hailing from Nagoya.
The trio includes Shoko Mizuno, who completed her postgraduate at Tokyo University of the Arts and also works as a pianist at the New National Theatre Tokyo; Takamori Arai, a violinist currently working on his masters at Tokyo University of the Arts; and Misaki Kurokawa, a cellist graduated from Toho Gakuen School of Music and All-Japan Student Music Competition Winner.
The trio visits schools in all areas as “outreach artists for the revitalization of regional music” to share with students the power of music.
