On March 28, 2023, His Excellency Mohamed Elloumi, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Tunisia to Japan, paid a courtesy call on the Min-On Concert Association in Tokyo. He was greeted by Min-On President Kazuto Ito, Executive Managing Director Hideo Murata and Managing Director Hideshiro Akiya.
Referring to Min-On’s invitation of Emel Mathlouthi, one of the most popular vocalists in his country, to Japan on a nationwide tour in 2021, Ambassador Elloumi said he looked to forge even closer bilateral ties through cultural exchanges organized by Min-On.
The Tunisian ambassador was also given a tour of the newly renovated Min-On Music Museum, where he was shown its collection of classical pianos and music boxes.
