On July 10, 2026, Mr. Gabriel Deng, Chargé d’Affaires a.i. of the Embassy of the Republic of South Sudan in Japan, visited the Min-On Cultural Center, where he was welcomed by Min-On President Koji Yamaguchi.

Thank you so much, President Yamaguchi, for your warm welcome and kind hospitality. It was truly a pleasure to visit this historic institution and learn more about Min-On’s remarkable work in promoting culture and friendship. I greatly enjoyed our meaningful discussion and am confident that the future of relations between South Sudan and Japan is bright. The tour of the beautiful pianos and other musical instruments was a wonderful experience that I will always remember. Thank you once again, and I look forward to welcoming you to South Sudan one day.
