On October 19, 2018, an opening ceremony for the Tolstoy and Music Exhibition—a Min-On Music Museum and L.N. Tolstoy Estate Museum joint event—was held at the Min-On Culture Center. The exhibition itself runs from October 20, 2018 to February 3, 2019. H. E. Mr. Mikhail Y. Galuzin, the Russian Ambassador to Japan, was in attendance and gave a congratulatory speech.
The ambassador spoke of his joy that such an important exhibition, crucial to understanding the heart of Russian culture, could be held in Japan, and he anticipates further cultural exchange between the two countries. After his speech, the ambassador enjoyed the exhibition alongside the attendees.
