On July 10, Chargé d’Affaires ad interim Natalia Fernanda Salazar Balderrama of the Embassy of the Plurinational State of Bolivia in Japan, visited the Min-On Concert Association to tour the Min-On Music Museum and its collection of classic pianos and music boxes.
Prior to the tour, Chargé d’Affaires ad interim Salazar the was welcomed by Min-On President Koji Yamaguchi, Executive Managing Director Hideshiro Akiya and Managing Director Kiyoshi Komatsu. In their meeting, the acting Bolivian ambassador said that mutual understanding facilitated by the exchange of music and culture among different peoples would have long-term benefits.
She also pointed to 2024 being the 125th anniversary of formal diplomatic relations between Bolivia and Japan, saying she looked to forge even stronger bilateral bonds going forward.
