Overseas Dispatch Series
Min-On has played a major role in introducing Japanese culture abroad. To date, numerous Japanese musicians and dancers have been sent to other countries by Min-On, among them leading musical and theatrical groups such as Kikunokai, Minbunren, and Maidaiko Aska-Gumi, as part of Min-On’s mission to conduct significant worldwide cultural exchanges. These overseas tours, which have featured regular cooperation with the Jeunesses Musicales de France (JMF) and the Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR), aim to enhance appreciation of Japanese culture overseas and contribute to mutual exchanges. Min-On has also been introducing performing arts from all over the world to Taiwan since 1989.
