On January 13, 2023, Her Excellency Shorna-Kay M. Richards, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Jamaica to Japan, called on the Min-On Concert Association’s Min-On Culture Center. She was greeted by President Kazuto Ito and other association officials.
Ambassador Richards spoke of her hopes of working together with Min-On on various cultural exchange initiatives, strengthening the bonds of bilateral goodwill and friendship.
The Jamaican ambassador later visited the Min-On Music Museum, sitting in on a classical piano performance as well as looking over various music boxes in the library’s collection.
