On November 7, Chargé d’Affaires ad interim Pewan Zawitai of the Embassy of the Republic of Iraq in Japan, visited the Min-On Concert Association to tour the classic pianos and music boxes on display at the Min-On Music Museum.
Chargé d’Affaires ad interim Zawitai was welcomed by Min-On President Koji Yamaguchi, Vice President Yasuharu Ito, Executive Managing Director Hideshiro Akiya and Managing Director Kiyoshi Komatsu.
In their meeting, the Iraqi head of mission expressed agreement with the late Min-On founder Daisaku Ikeda’s philosophy of peace and stated his desire to work together with the association to promote goodwill and friendship between the people of Iraq and Japan.
