On October 11, two members of the Panel of Judges for the Tokyo International Conducting Competition (TICC) organized by the Min-On Concert Association visited the Min-On Culture Center. The judges were President Jeff Alexander of the Chicago Symphony Orchestra and Senior Producer Mike George of the BBC Philharmonic.
They were greeted by Min-On Vice President Yasuharu Ito and Managing Director Kiyoshi Komatsu.
In their meeting, the visitors cited Min-On for its activities and said the latest TICC included many exciting new and very capable conductors. Following their talk, the two toured the Min-On Music Museum’s collection of classic pianos and music boxes, as well as the Min-On Library.
