On June 4, His Excellency Domitru Socolan, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Moldova to Japan, paid a visit to the Min-On Concert Association in Tokyo. He was greeted by Min-On President Koji Yamaguchi, Vice President Yasuharu Ito, Executive Managing Director Hideshiro Akiya and Managing Director Kiyoshi Komatsu.

Ambassador Socolan said that through exchanges with the Japanese, he looked to learn from Japan in terms of its social orderliness and appreciation of time-honored culture and traditions, as well as from the country’s emphasis on education. He expressed his desire to work with Min-On to forge stronger bilateral ties through cultural exchange initiatives.

Following their discussion, Ambassador Socolan then visited the Min-On Music Museum’s collection of classic pianos and music boxes.
