On May 21, Jose Carlos Amaral Vieira called on the Min-On Concert Association in Tokyo. He was greeted by Min-On Standing Advisor Hiromasa Ikeda, President Koji Yamaguchi and Advisor Kazuto Ito.
The acclaimed pianist and composer from Brazil was in Japan on an 11-venue nationwide tour that kicks off from May 23 and concludes on June 9.
In their meeting, Mr. Avieira gifted Min-On with “The Human Revolution—Musical Impressions and Feelings” that he composed in honor of the late Min-On founder Daisaku Ikeda.
Following their talk, the Brazilian maestro toured the Min-On Music Museum’s collection of classic pianos and music boxes.
