On March 5, His Excellency Estifanos Afeworki Haile, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the State of Eritrea to Japan, called on the Min-On Concert Association. He was welcomed by Min-On President Koji Yamaguchi, Vice President Yasuharu Ito, Executive Managing Director Hideshiro Akiya, Managing Director Kiyoshi Komatsu and Advisor Kazuto Ito.
Noting that Eritrea is a diverse society comprised of multiple ethnicities that recognizes the fundamental equality of all human beings, Ambassador Haile said he saw the importance of music and culture in forging stronger bonds between peoples of different countries.
Following their talk, the Eritrean ambassador toured the Min-On Music Museum’s collection of classic pianos and music boxes.
