On July 5, His Excellency Diego Alejandro Dalton Rosales, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of El Salvador to Japan, called on the Min-On Concert Association in Tokyo. He was welcomed by Min-On President Kazuto Ito and Managing Director Kiyoshi Komatsu.
In their meeting, Ambassador Dalton said that he finds deep resonance with Min-On founder Daisaku Ikeda’s perspectives on peace, including the capacity of music to forge closer bonds of unity among people. He added that he hopes to work with Min-On to introduce El Salvador’s musical culture to Japan going forward.
Following their talk, the ambassador toured the Min-On Music Museum and took in performances on a classic piano and music box.
