Tokyo showing of Asian Pops 2024 draws large diplomatic corps audience

On September 18, the Bunkyo Civic Hall played host to the “Asian Pops 2024” concert, drawing ambassadors and envoys from 36 diplomatic missions in Tokyo, including Her Excellency Phongsamouth Alavan, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Lao People’s Democratic Republic to Japan.

🎶 On Thursday, October 17th, THE IKH TATLAGA brought the rich tradition of Mongolian music to an elementary school in Aichi Prefecture! 🎻✨

The students were captivated by the enchanting sounds of Mongolian folk music, featuring the morin khuur (horsehead fiddle) and the unique art of throat singing (khöömei). To top it off, they had the chance to try playing the morin khuur themselves for the very first time! 🌟🎶Image attachment
