On June 17, 2026, Ms. Debora Rajtman, General Director of Festivals and Cultural Nights at the Ministry of Culture of the City of Buenos Aires; and Mr. Gustavo Cuevas, Director of Festivals and Cultural Nights of the same ministry visited the Min-On Cultural Center accompanied by H.E. Mr. Eduardo Tempone, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Argentine Republic to Japan, and Mr. Mauricio Muñoz of the Embassy of Argentina in Japan. The guests were welcomed by Min-On President Koji Yamaguchi and other representatives.
During the meeting, the guests expressed their appreciation that Min-On’s tango presentations have helped deepen understanding of Buenos Aires and Argentina among Japanese audiences. They remarked that they were delighted to see Japanese interest in Argentine culture continue to grow through these performances and expressed their hope that ongoing cooperation would further advance cultural exchange between the two countries.
Following the meeting, the visitors toured the Classical Piano Room and other exhibits at the Min-On Music Museum.
