In September 2025, the Min-On Concert Association organized nine school concerts across Japan. Approximately 3,700 students from 13 schools participated in the events, where both Japanese and international artists shared the joy of music with children.

(September 9, Settsu City, Osaka Prefecture)
The participating students shared the following comments:
“It became an unforgettable memory. Listening up close, I was deeply moved by the power of the sound.”
“It was my first time hearing live music, and my heart was filled with excitement from start to finish.”
“I was deeply touched by the sound of the hibaku piano—a piano that survived the atomic bombing—which conveyed a strong message of peace. I hope you will continue to share such beautiful music to help create a world without war or conflict.”
The musicians who performed in the school concerts are as follows:
ASUKA-Gumi (Japanese drums and traditional instruments)
Yoriyuki Kasai (Tsugaru shamisen — a traditional Japanese three-stringed lute)
(September 12, Tōda District, Miyagi Prefecture)
The Gothard Sisters (Celtic music band, USA)

– Students enjoyed Celtic music and Irish dance. (September 17, Iizuka City, Fukuoka Prefecture)
Jacob Koller (Pianist, USA)

Through our school concerts, Min-On will continue to bring smiles to children through the power of music.
Min-On wishes to thank its sustaining members for making this and other association initiatives possible.
