On December 20, 2024, His Excellency Nidal Yehya, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Lebanese Republic to Japan, paid a courtesy call on the Min-On Concert Association in Tokyo. The ambassador was accompanied by Dr. Naohiko Umewaka, Japanese Noh Master and Professor Emeritus at the Shizuoka University of Arts and Culture, and his Lebanese wife, Madeleine.
The three dignitaries were greeted by Min-On President Koji Yamaguchi, Vice President Yasuharu Ito, Executive Managing Director Hideshiro Akiya and Managing Director Kiyoshi Komatsu. In meeting with Min-On officials, Ambassador Yehya cited the association for its cultural exchange initiatives to advance dialogue and peace worldwide. The three then toured the Min-On Music Museum’s collection of classic pianos and music boxes.
