On June 4, 2026, H.E. Dr. Badr Ahmed Mohamed Abdelatty, Minister of Foreign Affairs, International Cooperation and Expatriates of the Arab Republic of Egypt, visited the Min-On Cultural Center. He was accompanied by H.E. Mr. Ragui Mohamed Mohamed Eletreby, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Arab Republic of Egypt to Japan. The guests were welcomed by Min-On President Koji Yamaguchi and other representatives.

During the meeting, Minister Abdelatty emphasized the importance of fostering peace through cultural exchange and mutual understanding, particularly among younger generations, in light of today’s increasingly complex global challenges. He noted that promoting a spirit of tolerance and moderation requires greater people-to-people engagement and highlighted the value of dialogue and exchange through music and the arts.

The Minister also expressed his hope for strengthened cooperation with Min-On in advancing cultural exchange between Egypt and Japan.

Following the meeting, Minister Abdelatty and Ambassador Eletreby toured the Min-On Music Museum’s Classical Piano Room and Automatic Instrument Room.
