On April 2, 2026, H.E. Mr. Farid Talibov, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Azerbaijan to Japan, visited the Min-On Culture Center, accompanied by Mr. Sadig Babayev, Counsellor, and Ms. Nermin Babayeva. Min-On Concert Association President Koji Yamaguchi and other representatives welcomed the delegation and held a friendly discussion.
During the meeting, Ambassador Talibov spoke about his long-standing familiarity with Japanese culture since childhood and expressed his commitment to further promoting cultural exchange between the two countries. He also conveyed his expectations for continued cooperation with Min-On in advancing such initiatives.
Following the meeting, the delegation toured the Min-On Music Museum, including its Classical Piano Room and the exhibition of traditional musical instruments.
