On March 6, 2026, H.E. Mr. Didier Dacko, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Mali to Japan, visited the Min-On Music Museum together with his family. They were welcomed by Min-On President Yamaguchi and other representatives of the association.
During the visit, Ambassador Dacko and his family viewed the museum’s collection of ethnic musical instruments as well as photographs documenting the history of Min-On’s cultural activities. They also enjoyed demonstrations of antique pianos and automated musical instruments.
Reflecting on the visit, the ambassador spoke about the importance of culture in connecting people with one another and with society. He also expressed his hope to further strengthen cultural exchange between Mali and Japan through future cooperation with Min-On.
