On August 1, His Excellency Jaber Jaralla M.A. Almarri, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the State of Qatar to Japan, paid a courtesy call on the Min-On Concert Association in Tokyo.
He was welcomed by Min-On President Koji Yamaguchi, Executive Managing Director Hideshiro Akiya and Managing Director Kiyoshi Komatsu. In their meeting, Ambassador Almarri said he found resonance with Min-On founder Daisaku Ikeda, who believed in the power of music and culture to not only bring people together but also contribute to the advancement of peace.
Following that, the Qatari ambassador toured the Min-On Music Museum’s collection of classic pianos and music boxes.
