On August 5, Director Park Young-hea of the Korean Culture Center (KCC), which operates under the aegis of the Embassy of the Republic of Korea in Japan, called on the Min-On Concert Association in Tokyo. She was welcomed by Min-On President Koji Yamaguchi, Vice President Yasuharu Ito, Executive Managing Director Hideshiro Akiya and Managing Director Kiyoshi Komatsu.
In their meeting, Director Park spoke on her Center’s cooperation with Min-On on the Korea-Japan Youth Concert that began in 2018, saying that the recurring series of concerts was a testament to the healthy exchange of musical culture between their two countries.
She added that she looked to continuing the youth concerts going forward. The KCC director later toured the Min-On Music Museum’s collection of classic pianos and music boxes.
