On September 18, 2024, Dr. Meera Murugesan, Principal of Soka Ikeda College of Arts and Science for Women,Dr. Kanmani Subramanian,Vice Principal, and Dr. R. Sandhya Lakshmi, Head of Department of English,visited the Min-On Music Museum’s collection of classic pianos and music boxes. Prior to the visit, they were greeted by Min-On President Koji Yamaguchi, Executive Managing Director Hideshiro Akiya and Managing Director Kiyoshi Komatsu.
Principal Dr. Murugesan expressed her great pleasure at the visit to the museum, saying, “This opportunity was made possible by the deep ties between Dr. Kumanan (Chairman of the University) and Dr. Ikeda (Founder of the Association).
Touching on the history of the association’s exchange programs, she said, “This is a very meaningful activity. I am convinced that music and culture are a shortcut to connect people’s hearts and the world.
