On May 28, His Excellency Dr. Mohamed Al Busaidi, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Sultanate of Oman to Japan, paid a courtesy call on the Min-On Concert Association. He was greeted by Min-On President Koji Yamaguchi, Vice President Yasuharu Ito, Executive Managing Director Hideshiro Akiya, Managing Director Kiyoshi Komatsu and Advisor Kazuto Ito.
In their meeting, Ambassador Busaidi expressed an affinity for the humanitarian beliefs of the late-Min-On founder Daisaku Ikeda, saying his country cherished the humanity of each of its citizens. He also described music as the common language of peace worldwide and therefore underscored the importance of cultural exchange.
Following their discussion, Ambassador Busaidi then visited the Min-On Music Museum’s collection of classic pianos and music boxes.
