On the evening of April 12, the China National Acrobatic Troupe performed at the Bunkyo Civic Hall in Tokyo, where envoys from 36 embassies attended.
Among the dignitaries were His Excellency Wu Fianghao, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People’s Republic of China to Japan, as well as Chinese People’s Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries Chairperson Yang Wanming and Vice Chairperson Yuan Mindao.
In addition to traditional Chinese acrobatic moves, the performance featured new choreographic elements that pushed the acrobats to their physical limits, stunning the audience and eliciting thunderous ovation.
The troupe’s Japan tour kicked off on March 9 and, after holding 51 shows at 32 cities nationwide, will conclude on May 1.
