On May 18, 2023, Mr. Najib Elji, Chargé d’Affaires ad interim of the Embassy of the Syrian Arab Republic in Japan, paid a courtesy call on the Min-On Concert Association in Tokyo. He was welcomed by Min-On President Kazuto Ito, Executive Managing Director Hideshiro Akiya and Managing Director Kiyoshi Komatsu.
Chargé d’Affaires Elji said he looked to sharing his country’s history and culture with the people of Japan by cooperating with Min-On on cultural exchange programs to strengthen bilateral ties of friendship and goodwill. Following their talk, the Syrian envoy toured Min-On Music Museum’s collection of classical pianos and music boxes.
