Min-On held six free school concerts at six different venues in the month of May 2025. The artists who took part in the latest series of Min-On’s outreach initiative were Japan Marvelous, Cousin, Steve Barakat, and , starting from May 19 and concluding on May 30. The trio features members of the prestigious Berliner Philharmoniker, including violinist Marlene Ito, the first-ever female principal of the orchestra’s second violin section. In this exclusive interview, Marlene Ito shares her musical roots, her experience as a pioneering female leader in one of the world’s top orchestras, and the deeper sense of purpose that inspires her music.
