Following the lecture concert “Poem and Rhythm from Haiti,” held in Tokyo on May 31, 2026, Ambassador Joseph spoke with us about the rich diversity of Haitian culture, his hopes for strengthening ties between Haiti and Japan, and the important role of music and cultural exchange in bringing people together.
