Garcia-Albano, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of the Philippines to Japan. In this interview, Ambassador Garcia-Albano reflects on the 70th anniversary of the normalization of diplomatic relations between the Philippines and Japan, and the many initiatives being held to further deepen the friendship between the two countries. She also speaks about the Filipino spirit of “Bayanihan,” the important role of music in the daily lives of Filipino people, and the power of cultural exchange to bring people closer together.
