5月19日，以福岡為據點在國內外演出的「和樂團Japan Marvelous Drummers」的民音學校公演，於今年4月剛開校的北九州市立小森江小學舉行，約150名兒童、教職員工前來觀看。 一絲不亂的鼓聲、充滿默契的表演，令場內不斷響起掌聲和歡呼聲。 在體驗節目中，當西口團長邀請志願者登台參加時，很多兒童都積極地響應。被選為代表的老師和兒童5人嘗試了演奏和太鼓，充分體驗到第一次接觸到和樂器的魅力等。 其中一個兒童發表感想說：「在現場聽到的和太鼓很有魄力，撼動我的全身。就像通過音樂向世界傳達感動的和樂團Japan...

自2003年以來，時隔20年第三次來日公演的「烏克蘭國立民族舞蹈團」一行52人，途經波蘭平安抵達日本。 一行人于6月13日傍晚精神飽滿地到達成田機場，第二天14日全員訪問並參觀了民音音樂博物館。工作人員以鋼琴演奏烏克蘭國歌歡迎，成員們觀賞了古典鋼琴以及風琴等自動演奏樂器的演奏。 以下是團員們的感想。 「我被古典樂器和其音色所感動。聽了110年前錄製的音樂，給我留下了深刻的印象。」 「聽到演奏國歌時感慨萬千，仿佛置身祖國，衷心感謝大家的熱情歡迎。」...
