今年是民主音乐协会与中国开始文化交流的50周年。上海歌舞团舞剧《朱鹭》曾于2014年在日本预演，又于2015年在全国演出56场，好评如潮。这次是阔别10年的日本公演。2月19日至4月20日，在日本32个城市巡回演出55场，取得了巨大的成果。 巡演的 65 位成员抵达日本后，于 2 月 17 日访问了民音文化中心。 卿伯明访日团团长（中国人民对外友好协会文化交流部主任）对民音从创办人池田大作先生与周恩来总理会面时起，于这50年来为促进中日文化交流所做的不懈努力表示感谢，并对作为中日文化交流桥梁的舞剧成员寄予期望。...
