\nDepuis ses d\u00e9buts, Min-On favorise l\u2019\u00e9closion de talents artistiques \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9chelle mondiale par le truchement de ses divers programmes internationaux, notamment le Concours International de Musique de Tokyo (d\u00e9clin\u00e9 en trois disciplines : art vocal ; direction d\u2019orchestre; et ensembles de musique de chambre), lanc\u00e9 en 1966, et le Concours International de Chor\u00e9graphie de Tokyo, inaugur\u00e9 en 1991. Ces deux concours ont contribu\u00e9 \u00e0 promouvoir une foule d\u2019artistes et concouru \u00e0 l\u2019essor de la musique et des arts du spectacle au Japon et dans le monde entier.<\/p>\n

Le Concours International de Direction d\u2019Orchestre de Tokyo \u2013 l\u2019une des trois cat\u00e9gories du Concours International de Musique de Tokyo \u2013 a vu le jour en 1967 et se tient tous les trois ans. Depuis ses origines, il a form\u00e9 un grand nombre de chefs d\u2019orchestre talentueux et est devenu un concours renomm\u00e9 en la mati\u00e8re au niveau international. Le plus r\u00e9cent, qui a eu lieu en 2009, a attir\u00e9 117 candidats au total, originaires de 33 pays et r\u00e9gions. La proc\u00e9dure de candidature pour le prochain concours, pr\u00e9vu en 2012, vient tout juste de d\u00e9buter.<\/p>\n

Le Concours International de Chor\u00e9graphie de Tokyo est l\u2019un des rares concours de ce genre au monde. Il rassemble des dizaines de chor\u00e9graphes et groupes de danse du monde entier et offre une sc\u00e8ne unique aux jeunes artistes de demain.<\/p>\n

Par ailleurs, entre 1969 et 1994, Min-On a organis\u00e9 un Festival de Musique Contemporaine dans le cadre des Concours de musique afin de faire conna\u00eetre des \u0153uvres contemporaines sign\u00e9es de jeunes compositeurs japonais \u00e9minents. Nombre d\u2019\u0153uvres musicales contemporaines remarqu\u00e9es ayant fait l\u2019objet de commandes ont \u00e9t\u00e9 pr\u00e9sent\u00e9es au public pendant cette p\u00e9riode.<\/p>\n
