Spectacular, dynamic creativity

Min-On inaugurated this exclusive series of premier ballet presentations in 1996 with the Soviet National Academy Novosibirsk Ballet. More recent major events have included performances by the 20th Century Ballet of the Monnaie Royal Theater, the National Theater of Belgium, led by Maurice Béjart; the Hamburg Ballet, led by John Neumeier; and the Netherlands Dance Theater, led by Jirí Kylián.
The series has been praised for its ongoing efforts to raise awareness of and enthusiasm for this elegant yet demanding discipline. The revolution in ballet initiated by dancers like Isadora Duncan and Marie Vickman and passed on through generations including Vaslav Nijinsky reaches us today in the works of Béjart, Forsythe and Neumeier.
